We raised approximately $6,000 which will go towards our first income generating project in Uganda. We plan to build a pig farm near our site in Mubende which will allow our school at Good Hope to reduce its reliance on donations for operating costs.
Income generated from the pig farm will be allocated towards operating costs for the farm as well as teacher salaries and school supplies. We are so thankful to all of our donors and to our raffle prize donors for their generous donations. We will keep you up to date on the progress of our pig farm as construction will begin before the end of 2014.
